Peaches

If ever there was a fruit you could relate to a woman, I would have to say that is the peach. That beautiful fuzzy pink fruit is the very epitome of a woman. It is soft, sweet smelling, plump and invigorating even just by scent, just like a woman is. And you probably never would have guessed that it is a member of the rose family or how the pit in the center of the peach is actually poisonous – another ironic ‘description’ of a woman, this time as that of a Femme Fatale?

Back in ancient China, peaches were prized for their youth preserving properties, making them symbolic of immortality and longevity. But it really isn’t all ‘superstition’ because science has proven that peaches are rich in a substance called phytochemicals, which act as anti-oxidants so it truly does work. It works so well that it also helps to prevent the clogging of arteries – other aged related conditions.

Basically there are two kinds of peaches, the yellow one (favoured in the west) and the white one (favoured in the East) but they both work equal wonders. Usually people would just eat them and be happy with consuming the good vitamins, minerals etc but companies recognizing the healing properties peach phytochemicals have on skin have started making endless ranges of facial/skincare products from it.

But my opinion is, if you are going to apply it, make sure it’s of organic make that way you won’t be coming back down to zero benefits when you consider the side effect applying a peach based product with the enhancement of artificial chemicals. Alternatively since peaches, when in season can go for quite cheap, you can always use the real deal – which is always 100% better than what comes in a jar.

In simple terms, the juice from a peach has the ability to stimulate the regeneration of cells. So all you really have to do is just take the skin of a peach and apply the juice from it to your face. Leave for 15-20mins and rinse clear. You’ll see an immediate effect and after prolonged use, you’ll see the wonders…
