cThe human body is such a complex structure and it’s impossible for anyone to safely say they will never fall ill regardless of how well they take care of themselves. Men and women don’t just think different, we are built different and I mean that in the most literal of aspects as well because the ailments were are susceptible towards can be gender specific.
Of late among the many health concerns specifically directed at women, cancer is one that tops the list – in particular breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Now you never can predict with cancer so the best you can do is take the proper precautionary measures to check for them because with cancer early detection is your best chance of survival. But besides cancer there is another very common ailment that plagues us as women and that is the ovarian cyst.
Ovarian cysts are small fluid-filled sacs that develop in a woman’s ovaries and they are very common. Most ovarian cysts are benign and go away on their own within weeks. Those that do not and keep growing despite being benign will have to be surgically removed.
Now I’ll stress that when it comes to delicate health issues like cysts, nothing is a substitute for sound medical treatment but I thought it be interesting to share that there is a known natural way to remove benign ovarian cysts.
Castor oil has been used for centuries to expel the ovary of benign cysts. No you don’t drink it not rub oil on yourself but rather apply it to your abdomen as a hot oil pack. I suppose as long at the cyst is medically determined to be benign; there is not harm in trying to dissolve it with castor oil.
A castor oil pack is really cheap and simple to make. For a castor oil pack you will need the following:
• Castor oil.
• Two sheets of plastic
• 1 yard cotton or wool flannel.
• Heating pad or hot water bottle
And to use it, it’s really quite simple:
1. Soak the flannel cloth in the castor oil and apply it directly to your abdomen.
2. Cover the flannel cloth with the plastic sheets then place the hot water bottle on top.
3. Keep on for about 30 minutes to an hour and repeat the treatment no more than 3x a week.
4. If it works you will find a chocolate brown discharge or blood tinged discharge from the vagina. These events can occur several days or even weeks after these hot oil packs.
I suppose it’s no harm trying a castor oil pack before opting for an invasive surgery to treat a harmless cyst.
