Go green for a baby

Life’s unfair…we’ve got that understanding down to the tee. But sometimes the scales tip so badly you just have to make a complaint about it. Take a look around, chances are you’ll see children and plenty of them. And because it is a matter of individual preference, you’ll find that some people really appreciate the kids they have while some others aren’t. Then there’s a group of people who wished they could appreciate on behalf of the ‘unappreciative’ the gift of the new life. Yes I’m talking about the poor couples who try and work so very hard to get pregnant but sadly always end up with nothing or a nightmarish miscarriage.
Life just seems so at fair at such points in time because these people, the ones who long and yearn for a baby of their own are the ones who will cherish the new born life, nurture it and protect it with their own yet they can have none. And those who are convinced they would make rotten parents with no space in their lives right now for a child will be blessed with a pez like production line if precaution is not well taken.

Now the issue of infertility is a sensitive one. Something so unique and complicated is each individual’s case that not even science can solve all of them. But if there is something you can do help increase the chances and it hasn’t got anything to do with chemicals or tablets.

If you ever needed a reason to adopt a healthier lifestyle then to conceive a baby is one of the strongest ones you’ve got. I’m not a doctor but good sense tells me that the body is designed in such a way to protect itself. If you’re not taking good care of it then it’s not going to take on more ‘weight’ than it can carry. You’d think it were a form of midwives tale but carrying another life in you gives tremendous stress on the body.

Without the proper nutrients to give it strength, the pollution from the atmosphere and the weakening of our cells from the consumption of chemical additives only adds to the stress of successfully carrying a baby to term.

I’ve be told time and time again, if you want a healthy baby and the increased chances of a smooth pregnancy, then lead a green and organic lifestyle. It’s a big change and a tad pricy but for all it’s worth…the benefits are priceless.
