Natural Brighteners

White has always been a preferred colour. When it relates to health in general, white has always stood superior over a dreary yellow tint. Try thinking clear bright eyes, pearly white teeth, strong white nails, has white not always been perceived to be the very epitome of vigour – something that all the beautiful and triumphant people seem to be in abundant off and likely owe part of their success to? Something that the rest of us always wished we could have, even if it’s just a little of?

Facing sad facts, it is an undeniably beauty and image conscious world that we live in today. People will go through all sorts of trouble and means (inclusive of placing their health in danger) as well as financial burdens just so they may cosmetically enhance/brighten/whiten parts of themselves. From chemical peels to teeth bleaching and eye whitener drops to nail whitener solutions, none come cheap without posing some risk to our health.

But why turn to neurotoxic chemicals for brightening your skin, eyes, teeth and nails when Mother Nature has the healthier and safer treatment right here in her big green garden? Of course I appreciate that ‘natural’ remedies take more time to take effect than chemicals but the patience will be worth your while in the long run.

For those who’d like to give it a try here are some natural whitening tips you can safely give a go right in the comforts of your home:

Chamomile Rose Pat

Eye Brightener

EyeWash Tea

  • catnip,
  • chamomile flower,
  • elder flower,

  • rosemary, and
  • thyme.
  • 1 cup of water

Green Tea Eye Wash
Green tea with distilled water makes for great eyewash to keep your eyes bright and healthy.

Teeth Whitener

Strawberry Tooth-Whitener
Strawberries have malic acid that is mild enough to safely clean and gently remove the stains on your teeth. Just rub a cut strawberry on your teeth for a few minutes and allow it to remain on your teeth for 5 minutes.

Nail Whitener
Soak a cotton ball with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, and then rub it on your nails. Hydrogen peroxide is a natural whitener that will surely do the trick.
