
Now we know that there are lots of fad diets, pills and thinga-magiggys out there that promises instant if not accelerated weight loss. But we all know through the school of hard knocks that they never work…or at least the results are simply temporary because:
- 1. You natural body frame determines your body shape – meaning no matter how much weight you lose you can’t have boyish slim hips if you were born a natural pear.
- 2. It is how you exercise and maintain your diet regime that sustains any real weight loss/new found figure.
- 3. No weight loss diet/pills/contraption comes without risk of adverse health effects.
But none of that every really stops us from trying out the next ‘great’ thing does it? However being a fan of sustainable living, the one good thing is I only keep to natural ‘tricks’.
Now I’ve long known the benefits of drinking green tea because it was a staple in my family home. When I was first introduced to the tea I just loved it for the taste and its remarkable ability to wash down a heavy meal. But later on I realized that green tea was packed with antioxidant goodness and weight loss properties, which was to me fantastic because finally something I was taking ‘willingly’ was helping out in areas I never expected!
But if you aren’t into the whole ‘greeny’ taste but you’d still like to reap the benefits, you can always turn to swallowing the green pill! And over here when I say green pill I’m not referring in any way to contraceptives but instead green tea pills which are called green pills because of the obvious green colour!
I’m really not sure if the benefits are the same or if they are at all effective but I suppose if you take supplement then you won’t be put off by the idea of drinking your tea through a pill now would you?
