img src=//http://www.fototime.com/1D8340D31102BA4/medium.jpg Here is a picture of one of the lapel pins I have made using recycled buttons, and beads. I use 20 gauge colored wire and I use a suspender back. I wire everything including the pin back. I hope the picture displays correctly

Reuse those old buttons and stray beads by wiring them onto a old belt buckle or suspender buckle. First wire a pin back that has some holes to the back of the buckle and make sure its securely wired. Then plan your colors. Use 20 gauge copper wire. It now comes in lots of beautiful colors. You can sometimes get jars full of old buttons or beads at flea markets. I will take some pictures of the \"recycled parts,\" pins I have made and send these so you can see how beautiful they are.

I\'ll have to try the silverware bracelets, you can buy some beautiful old pieces as just about any antique store/flea market. I wonder how much more force would go into a silverware ring? They\'d make a beautiful thumb ring.
