the busy schedule, the current economic climate or just my tied up finances,
but fact of the matter is I just haven’t been anywhere for a break or quality
alone with my thoughts and senses for a really long time. The closest I ever come to it is when I hear
of the lovely experience from my friends or when I browse through a magazine or
a site and see these beautiful sights that just leave my heart sunken with
envy.
But that’s just me so just forget about it…I mean just
because I can’t have my holiday getaway it doesn’t mean that everyone shares
the same disappointing fate. Yes, so today I am going make myself even greener
with envy as I discuss about some lovely travel tips.
Now much like how a person being on a strict diet caves into
sinful cravings during a relaxing holiday, travel can just as skilfully ruin the
best laid plans of your strictly green regime. Sometimes it’s the temptation of the
environment to try something new, sometimes it’s the limitation of the holiday
destination (you can’t find organic everywhere), either way you find yourself
straying from your strict routine in order not to compromise your hard earned
holiday.
Well what I have here for you today will not only save you
from that hassle but also from having to experience that dreaded ‘what have I
done’ conscience eating after holiday session.
No it’s hardly magic, just the aid to help you find the
right accommodation that will cater to your green needs throughout your stay.
Organic Places to Stay is the brainchild of Linda Moss, a
lovely wife with three grown up children, two grandchildren, who lives in
Guiseley, West Yorkshire (live there all her life too) who had the amazing
foresight to compile the much need list of organic places to stay around the
world. She first started a website and soon progressed to publishing the
information into a book (sold out it seems). She’s not working on a second
edition of the guide book that will include more suggestions.
Staying at one of the listed places will ensure that you can
keep to your organic/green diet and still enjoy the breathtaking sceneries. Her
listing does cover worldwide locations, not just UK and Europe!
Sigh…I really want my holiday.
